CHEN CHEN YU
Chen Chen Yu’s works look into the landscapes under the construction of modern industrialization and globalization, and the interactivity between human, commodity and image. Work with moving images, installations, and sculptures, his works often are collage-makings that combine both found objects and images, and peak into the phenomena created by the ceaseless cycle of resource extraction and re/production. Borrowing from some popular science disciplines on one hand, and implanting personal imaginations on the other, his works try to penetrate the existing boundaries between the catalogue of human, commodity, and nature. His works were exhibited in Taipei Arts Award, Hong Kong Art Center, Ashkal Alwan Beruit, Seoul Art Space Geumcheon, Kasseler Dokfest, Denver Film Festival, Lisbon International Film Festival.
